It’s important to be a fat burner versus a sugar burner for long term health. But what does this really mean? What does a sugar burner look like, feel like and act like? Do any of these apply to you?
You Know You’re a Sugar Burner If……
……You rarely feel “satisfied” after a meal. Even though you might feel “full”, or even stuffed, but something seems missing.
…..You feel like you have to eat often. Making it four hours between meals without feeling hungry or craving carbs seems impossible.
….You often get “hangry”. That feeling of being hungry and angry and short-tempered.
…. You crave carbs and sugar. You’re always hunting for something sweet.
…. You struggle with belly fat. When you lose weight, it rarely is in your belly.
Its A Vicious Cycle
Being a sugar burner means you have more insulin floating around trying to get the sugar into the cells. You become “insulin resistant” and the body makes fat cells to store the excess sugar in. Meanwhile, where is the primary location of those fat cells? Yep, your belly!
Sugar burners often suffer from mood swings, depression, and even anxiety because of the inflammation created by the sugar that sets the brain on fire. Therefore, they often end up with something called Metabolic Syndrome, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and high blood sugars.
Being a sugar burner your body is constantly looking for a “quick fix” of sugar (carbs, candy, sodas) to burn. You burn this sugar in your cells, in the mitochondria, and sugar is a dirty burner! To clarify this creates a toxic overload in the cells. As well as inflammation and free radical damage! In other words, imagine dumping sugar into your cars fuel tank, how well would it run???
Therefore if you recognize yourself as a sugar burner, the WORST thing you can do is go carb-free (like Keto). Suddenly cutting off the carbs before your body has switched to a fat burner will leave you with headaches, light-headed, nauseous, and mad!!!
Here is what you want to do…
Learn how to gradually convert your body into a fat burner. This is what I teach you, and you actually do, during my 10 Day Detox. You will learn which foods are foods “to avoid” to lower your sugar and increase cellular clean up. In addition, you will learn which foods to “choose” to increase fat burning. Our next online class starts on October 21st.
This has been an incredibly positive journey for me. I thank you so very much for all you have shared. Between you, the Truth about Cancer, and the EWG website, it’s been such an eye-opening experience! And truly life-changing. I know I will never go back to what I thought was a “healthy” diet. The amount of sugar in the fruits I love and was eating daily is staggering! When I found out I could only eat green apples on the detox, I thought I would really dislike them, but now they taste sweet to me! I’ll be 66 next month and I keep thinking, wow, I wish I had all this knowledge 30 years ago!!! But better late than never, right?! And as long as I continue to learn more and eat better, that’s a positively wonderful thing, and I can share this knowledge with friends and family
So, thank you, thank you, thank you! That was the best $47 I’ve ever spent. I feel I’ve learned a million times that amount.
Elissa, Galveston TX P.S. An added bonus, I lost 6.5 pounds!
