This is where you live, where you raise your family, a safe haven from the world. But is it? Do you have a wi-fi signal in your home, cell service, “smart” appliances, and multiple devices running all the time?
I personally believe, after much research, that one of the biggest concerns for our health is exposure to large amounts of EMFs (electromagnetic fields) daily. We live in a literal “sea” of EMFs at home, in stores, at work, even at places where we go play, we are exposed constantly to these fields.
Healthcare professionals like Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, Ph.D. are becoming increasingly concerned about our exposure to EMFs. He states, “it’s no coincidence with this increase has come a corresponding rise in the incidence of such illnesses as Lyme disease, cancers, diabetes, and chronic fatigue syndrome. (to name just a couple serious health conditions).”
Effects from these radioactive fields can be objectively measured, and include changes to neurotransmitters, DNA breaks, an increase in free radicals, and increased blood glucose. Double-blind studies have shown impacts on heart and blood pressure rates after a mere 35 minutes of cell phone activity, and population studies have shown increased cases of cancer.
Along with that are the concerns of the impact EMFs have on your mitochondria. Your mitochondria are your life energy. Every cell in your body has mitochondria except your red blood cells. As we age we start to lose mitochondria and they can easily be damaged. Research has shown that EMFs have a devastating effect on your mitochondria. The fewer mitochondria you have and the more damaged they are, the faster you age and the more susceptible to disease you become.
Types of EMF Exposure
Electric and magnetic fields (EMFs) are invisible areas of energy. You may also hear EMFs being referred to as radiation. They are related to the use of electrical power, as well as various forms of lighting, including man-made and natural lighting.
EMFs can be grouped into two categories, non-ionizing, and ionizing radiation. Non-ionizing radiation are things like small appliances and tools. Ionizing radiation comes from things like microwave ovens, cell phones, computers, routers, power lines, smart meters, MRIs, and blue tooth devices.
In both cases, the intensity of the EMF exposure decreases as your distance from the object or EMF source increases. That is a hint right there, staying as far away from these devices can lower your exposure.
Natural sources of EMFs include the sun and the earth. Both of which we have lived with since the dawn of man.
5G Coming to Your Neighborhood
5G is quietly being rolled out, with no fanfare, during the COVID lock-down. 5G small cells are quite different. Unlike cell sites installed on top of rooftops or building facades that need at least 150 sq ft to be installed, 5G small cell sites are much smaller, and “can be installed in a cabinet approximately the same size as a high school locker. In most cases, 5G small cells also have just one antenna per cell.
Since they are so inconspicuous, you have to look closely to find them, and since different carriers are installing different 5G equipment, they don’t all look the same. Also, wireless carriers are hiding them:
“In Florida, they are camouflaging 5G towers in fake palm trees. In Arizona, they are building metal cactus trees to hide 5G towers. In Colorado and California, towers are being hidden inside phony evergreens.”
Elon Musk’s Starlink project, which is slated to deploy up to 42,000 satellites into orbit around the earth, will blanket the entire planet with 5G internet frequencies. You won’t be able to escape it.

5G and Its Impact on Your Health
There has not been a single safety study done on 5G. The studies done on 2G, 3G and 4G have clearly shown the damage done (as mentioned above) to the human body. 5G is more complex, as it uses a variety of frequencies, which makes it a potentially greater threat. The frequency of 4G is typically around 2 to 5 gigahertz (GHz), while 5G will be around 20 to 30 GHz, initially.
Martin Pall, Ph.D., wrote an excellent paper explaining how EMFs affect your voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) — channels in the outer plasma membrane of your cells. The consequences of this can be heart arrhythmias, increase dementia, autism, and increased risk of infertility.
Although all biological damage is of concern, it is the DNA strand breaks that are most concerning as they will lead to a radical increase in inflammation and virtually all degenerative diseases.
Electromagnetic sensitivity is a real thing. Already in the UK, they have an ICD code for this malady. Remember, we are electrical beings, and some people are much more sensitive to this exposure than others. Some of the symptoms of sensitivity are:
- Headaches
- Fatigue
- Dizzyness
- Changes in memory
- Depression/Anxiety
- Restlessness
- Infertility
- Hormone changes
- Blood sugar issues

Here are some quick tips:
- When using your cell phone hold it away from your body on speakerphone or use EMF protection earbuds.
- Do not use blue-tooth earbuds when using your cell phone.
- Use hard-wired internet connections when possible instead of Wi-fi
- Keep all electronic devices out of your bedroom
- Do not use the cell phone when it is charging
- Use a “safe sleeve” on your phone
There are now plans to put 5G in our schools, which is even more concerning. It’s important to remember those little bodies are even more sensitive than adults, so watch for behavior changes if this comes to your child’s school.
Take a digital detox day once a week! Turn off all electronic devices, even your router, and if possible get outside away from cell phone towers.
Grounding helps us to connect with the Earth’s electrical rhythms. It allows your body to neutralize positive ions from your electronic devices. Grounding may offer some wonderful health benefits, including reducing stress, insomnia, headaches, fatigue, and chronic pain. Try and do this as many times a week as possible. Bare feet on the dirt or grass, either sitting or standing, let your body touch the earth!
